Last week I found something totally unexpected,
I was down on the beach below my house playing
ball with my dog, and came across a bottle that
had washed ashore and lo and behold it had a
message in it. I had to break the bottle and the paper
was a little soggy but was able to make out what it said.
It was thrown overboard from the Rotterdam in 2005
and according to the coordinates written-it went in the
water near the Bahamas Islands. I was able to make
contact with the person who threw it overboard and needless
to say he was as amazed as I was. 4 years in the water and it
washes ashore almost right at my feet.
