All of these bottles are the best finds from 4 dives
I made this week. On one dive I was accompanied
by Sean Holland who was visiting the Island from
Boston. The bottles are described from left to right;
1. free blown black glass wine or port bottle c. 1780s
2. blown in mould black glass bottle c. 1830s
3. blown in mould (bim) black glass beer bottle c. 1870s
4. teal coloured medicine with a nice applied lip c. 1860s (bim)
5. aqua Dinneford's Magnesia c.1890s (bim)
6. aqua olive oil bottle c. 1890s (bim)
All of these bottles were found in different areas
along the Paget shorelines. The clay pipe and early
'case gin' fragment were found while I was doing some
work in Pruddens Bay.
